Very nice campground. We had a pull through site with a really nice view of the river. We only had plans to stay one night and were glad to have made that decision. It's so windy here that you couldn't really do anything. Apparently it's always that way. Although we loved the park we would not stay here again because of the relentless wind.
Quiet park considering it's so close to the freeway. We had a spot on the end of the row but other sites were very close together. Only a few miles from the center of Helena so very convenient for shopping. We'd definitely go back if we could get the same site.
Very nice park. Staff was extremely nice and very excited to tell us about the area and what to see. Very dark at night as there are no interior lights but that just makes for a spectacular display of stars. It's right off the freeway, but no noise at all. We'd definitely stay here again.
This park has no amenities, but that wasn't why we were here anyway. Only 14 miles from Yellowstone was the main reason we stayed here. Also very close to Henry's Lake which we could see from our site. We were right on busy Hwy 20 but could not here any road noise while inside our rig. Nice large, clean laundry room but still had to wait for dryers on one occasion. Small convenience store and gas station right next door that also sells fishing licenses. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice, friendly and knowledgable staff. Lots of freeway noise but inside we didn't hear it at all. No restrictions for washing rig or truck is a nice touch. Mosquitos LOVE the new grass so make sure to spray if going out. We would definitely stay here again.
$20 rate is for Broward County residents, otherwise $25 per night. This is a gem of a county park. Too bad 2 weeks is the limit. They do have some sites for longer stays but we were just visiting friends in the area. Very quiet and daily trash pickup. We had a back in site with a view of the canal. Levee blocks the view of the Everglades but there is access to the levee you can walk on.
